Fast food restaurant company Mcdonalds’ has filed 10 trademark applications, according to a recent tweet from trademark attorney Josh Gerben.
As reported by Bitcoin.com, Tuesday (15/2/2022), the filing was made at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), which describes how McDonald’s plans to create a virtual restaurant featuring actual and virtual goods.

Mcdonalds’ digital goods will include virtual food and beverage products, entertainment services, and virtual concerts. A McDonalds-themed metaverse world could feature restaurants that users can later operate, order, and deliver to customers’ homes.
Furthermore, the fast-food restaurant giant’s move is not the first time. Mcdonald’s shows interest in the digital world. On November 1, 2021, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his cult classic sandwich, the McRib.
McDonald’s printed a limited number of Non-Fungible Tokens ( NFT ) McRib during the celebration.

In addition to McDonald’s, which recently filed for the trademark of a virtual good, Panera Bread also filed a trademark application last week.
In addition, according to Gerben’s findings, Crocs, New Balance, and Puma have all filed applications for the USPTO trademark that increasingly describes the virtual world and goods.
